JAYCO SAF Series Bearing Housings are heavy-duty, horizontally split plummer blocks, originally developed for inch-series bearings, and now fully adapted for metric-series bearings to meet modern industrial requirements.

The SAF series is designed for high impact loads, shock loading, and severe operating conditions, making it a reliable solution for mining, cement, steel, conveyors, crushers, and heavy material-handling systems.

Shaft diameter range: 20 mm to 200 mm

Suitable for metric spherical roller bearings with adapter sleeves

Shaft diameter range: 19.05 mm (3/4″) to 242.89 mm (9-9/16″)

Inside diameter of housing machined to inch-equivalent sizes

Located & Non-Located Bearing Options

Provision available for axial locating rings

One or two locating rings used to depend on bearing size

Allows precise axial positioning where required

Lubrication System

✔ Grease Lubrication (Standard)

SAF housings are suitable only for grease lubrication

Grease nipple provided on top for relubrication

Drain plugs provided on both sides at the bottom for removal of contaminated grease

SAF 200 – Suitable for bearing series 12… / 222… CC (cylindrical bore)

SAF 300 – Suitable for bearing series 13… / 223… CC (cylindrical bore)

SAF 500 – Suitable for bearing series 12… K / 222… CCK with adapter sleeve

SAF 600 – Suitable for bearing series 13… K / 223… CCK with adapter sleeve

JAYCO SAF Series housings are available in:

Graded Cast Iron – FG 220 (IS 210)

Cast Steel – Grade 280 - 520 (IS 1030)

SG (Ductile) Iron – Grade 400/15 (IS 1865)

Material selection depends on shock level, vibration intensity, bearing size, and operating conditions.
