Design & Construction Features
The JAYCO SN Series bearing housings are designed with functional simplicity while maintaining adequate structural strength for general industrial use.
Simple and robust construction, suitable for moderate load and speed conditions
Reinforced design with:
Two rib provided at the center of the base cavity
One rib at the top of the cap to enhance housing strength
Horizontally split housing, allowing easy bearing mounting, inspection, and maintenance
Designed for taper bore bearings mounted on adapter sleeves
Shaft diameter range: 20 mm to 170 mm (depending on series)
Bearing Arrangement & Lubrication
Provision for locating ring is available for axial positioning of bearings when required
Designed exclusively for grease lubrication
Grease nipple provided on the top of the housing for effective relubrication
Felt seals are used as standard to protect bearings and grease from dust and external contaminants
Note:
No provision for drain hole
Not recommended for high-temperature applications

SN 500 Series – suitable for bearings with adapter sleeve:
1200K, 2200K, 22200K
Other series such as SN 200, SN 300, and SN 600 are available; however, for improved performance, SNA, SNH,SNL Series housings are generally recommended for these sizes
The overall fitment and mounting dimensions of JAYCO SN Series housings conform to International Standard ISO 113:2010, ensuring dimensional interchangeability.
